What We Offer
Professional On-Site Key Programming
Most vehicles made after 1995 use some form of transponder technology in their keys. That means a replacement key is not just about cutting the right shape. The electronic chip inside the key head must be programmed to communicate with your vehicle's immobilizer system before the engine will start.
We carry professional automotive programming tools in our service vehicle that connect to your car's onboard computer and sync the new key. This allows us to handle the entire process at your location, whether you are at home, at work, or in a parking lot.
- On-site transponder chip key programming
- Key fob and remote key sync
- Push-to-start smart key pairing
- Flip key programming
- Add spare keys to your vehicle's system
- Support for most domestic and foreign brands
Key Types We Program
Chip Keys, Fobs, Smart Keys, and Remotes
Different vehicles use different key technologies. Here are the main types we program on site:
- Transponder chip keys - The most common type. A small chip embedded in the key head sends a unique code to the immobilizer. New chips must be programmed to your specific vehicle.
- Key fobs with remote buttons - Combined key and remote units that lock, unlock, and sometimes start the vehicle. Both the physical key and the remote functions need to be synced.
- Flip keys - Keys where the metal blade folds into the fob body. These typically contain both a transponder chip and remote buttons that require programming.
- Smart proximity keys - Keyless entry and push-to-start systems where you carry the key in your pocket. These require pairing with the vehicle's receiver system.
- Standalone remotes - Separate remote control units (no key blade) that operate locks and sometimes the trunk or panic alarm.
